This short bike trail of less than 15 km takes the form of a loop, beginning and ending in Busko-Zdrój. It goes through the picturesque backdrop of the fields and forests of the Szaniecki, Nadnidziański and Solecko-Pacanowski Protected Landscape Areas. The fact that it stays away from busy main roads is a major advantage, which also makes it suitable for families with young children. Along the way, you will come across a number of shelters which can serve as rest areas when you want to take a short break, as well as two natural monuments – a pine tree on stilts in Wełecz and three oak trees in Kameduły.

Getting there and starting out
The route begins by the cemetery in Busko-Zdrój where ul. Langiewicza and ul. Szaniecka meet. There is a car park located nearby.
Technical description
Start your ride at the car park by the cemetery by following ul. Langiewicza to the west. Along the way, you will see an old cholera cemetery. The route then follows a specially designated bike path, among fields initially, but after you reach the shelter, that’s when the section that goes through the forest begins. Here you can select one of two routes. Turning to the left will take you on a slightly longer route, but it will give you the chance to see the pine tree on stilts, which is a natural monument. To do this, follow the signs for the blue hiking trail when you reach the next shelter. You can get to the natural monument via a forest path leading downhill. Just leave your bike by the shelter and walk down to it. After about 300 m, you’ll see one of the greatest natural attractions in Ponidzie. After that, continue your ride along a pleasant bike path to the village of Kameduły. Then there is a short section on local roads (where it’s worth stopping to see another natural monument – the three oak trees in Kameduły), before you pick up the bike path again and head for Busko-Zdrój. Just before you enter the town, there will be another opportunity to rest at a third shelter.
Attractions along the way:
Busko-Zdrój spa complex
The spa area is situated in the southern part of the town within the 19th century Park Zdrojowy. The Classicist Łazienki (Baths) building is a widely recognisable landmark in this resort town, which is now home to the Marconi Sanatorium, with its drinking hall and beautiful concert hall. Whilst in the park, you can look around the 19th century Chapel of St. Anne and also the impressive saline graduation tower that was recently built there. There are a number of interesting villas on ul. 1 Maja, which is the town’s main pedestrianised street, with most of them dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. Near the market square, you will find the wooden Church of St. Leonard from the end of the 17th century, as well as the former Norbertine monastery complex.
Natural monument – pine tree on stilts
An age-old Baltic pine with a stunning exposed root system that is almost 3 metres high! Its unusual appearance is due to the ground level being lowered as a result of human activity (the excavation of sand), with water and wind then eroding the roots further.
Children’s Quad World in Kameduły
A great place for children with lots of attractions, such as a professional quad bike track, a playground, a rock-climbing wall, a maze, inflatable slides, and much more. You can also try paintballing here, or just relax in the gazebo.
