Technical Monuments
Sielpia is the largest resort in the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship. Located here are a 60-hectare reservoir with a sandy beach, numerous tourist centres and water equipment rentals.
A dense network of hiking and biking trails allows visitors to easily reach the major attractions of the area, such as the Maleniec Metallurgical Plant, the Skałki Piekło near Niekłań and the marshes of the Krasna River. In the 19thcentury, Sielpia was home to one of the largest industrial plants of the Staropolski Basin, which is currently a museum. Among its most valuable exhibits is the huge metal flywheel with a diameter of 8 metres, as well as many unique machines and equipment. An additional attraction is the possibility of an underground boat ride on the canal running from the great wheel.
