The church of the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary dates back to the end of the 17th or early 18th centuries. Built on a rectangular plan, the log wall construction is divided in two sections and bears an octagonal drum with a pyramid roof.
One of the portals has an inscription which mentions the year 1733 – marking either the time of the erection or renovation of the church. The nave walls are decorated with polychrome paintings from the 19th – 20th centuries. The interior furnishings include a 17th – 18th century iconostasis and side altars from the 18th century.
