Green Velo

The town’s origins are linked to the production of iron out of bog iron in the 17^th century. After the activity of the ironworks came to an end in 1821, the village was bought by Baron Brunicki, to later become the property of the Wattman family.

It is to their presence that we owe the existence of the palace and the so-called old manor, a later outbuilding, surrounded by the remains of the former park. During the interwar period, the property was famous for its 300 hectares of ponds and modern fishery methods.
