The Baroque church and monastery of the Bernardine Order were built at the end of the 17th century, according to the design of Jan Link, the architect of fortifications in Zamość.
The basilica, situated on a high elevation called Łysa Góra (Bare Mount), can be reached via long stairs (102 steps divided into three floors). At the foot of the hill, there is a miraculous well and a wooden chapel of St. Anthony "On the Water".
