Enclosed by two ramparts, the Duńkowiczki Artillery Fort no. XI is located on a hill in the village from which it takes its name.
It was built around 1886 and then thoroughly modernised. Its design combines concrete, masonry and earthworks. In 1915, it was blown up in an explosion, but a significant part of it has survived to the present day. While the fort is privately owned, parts of it are accessible to visitors.
