Greek Catholic Parish Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross
Sacral Monuments
The church dates back to the 14th century (1367). In the 1970s, its furnishings were lost or destroyed. From its former rich interior, the 17th century wooden ceiling survives. Preserved and reconstructed in 2002-2007, it attracts the attention of visiting tourists. In 1981, the church was handed over to the Greek Catholic Parish. Adaptation works for eastern liturgy were carried out under the supervision of eng. Bogdan Boberski from Warsaw. The iconostasis and wall icons were created by Prof. Jerzy Nowosielski from Kraków. This is the largest gallery of his paintings in our voivodeship.
