Frampol Reservoir And Its Surroundings
Bathing and other water bodies
Every year hundreds of tourists are attracted to the Frampol Reservoir. This state-of-the-art facility was modernised in 2012. It’s increasingly popular among local residents and tourists due to its magnificent surroundings, modern infrastructure and free rentals of water equipment.
There is also a bathing area created under the project “Creating new tourism product for Frampol Commune in the form of bathing area and associated infrastructure in Frampol”. All beach tourists visiting the reservoir have at their disposal car parks, floating platforms, shower and toilet cabins, and a 200-metre long bicycle path. They can also use water equipment free of charge. The facility is monitored and supervised by lifeguard so it’s perfectly safe. Frampol Reservoir is also covered by the “Five reservoirs – plenty of fun” project. The project connects five tourist trails located in Janów Lubelski, Frampol, Nielisz and Zwierzyniec Communes. There are plenty of agrotourism farms nearby, while “Złoty Łan” Inn located right beside the Reservoir offers accommodation, catering and camping opportunities. Visitors can also try some delicious food at the “Smaki Kresowe” restaurant located by the gas station, or at the sports stadium with a stag. The sites provides safe and free-of-charge car park where tourists can also leave their bikes provided their stay is longer than 24 hours.
