Green Velo

The event draws on bread symbolism, traditional baking methods and accompanying customs. Moreover, we promote local bakeries and offer product tastings. All that is accompanied by talks, folk songs, customs and demonstrations of ancient crafts. The highlight of the evening will be a celebrity performance.

A colourful and tasty event at the Kielce Village Museum is a great opportunity to taste the wonderful pastries from local bakeries, buy regional handicraft and listen to traditional folk hits of our region.

It is one of the most beautiful events organized in the Ethnographic Park connected with the end-of-harvest traditions of old-time villages. It is accompanied by numerous ritual shows: threshing with flails, grinding grain on the querns and baking flatbread in the Cottage in Daleszyce.
