Municipal Culture, Sport and Recreation Centre in Kleszczele
Art Gallery
A bike friendly place is located in Kleszczele, next to the Municipal Culture, Sport and Recreation Centre – Hładyszka.
The name comes from the clay jugs in which farmers collected cream. Various workshops, meetings and concerts are organised here. During the Easter period, we hold a workshop for baking “busłowe łapy” (pastries in the shape of a stork’s foot), and traditional decoration of eggs. In the summer, you can relax over the Repczyce artificial lake, or soak in some culture during open-air events: Perepelica, Korowaj, Dni Kleszczel (Days of Kleszczele), and Wianki. Hładyszka is home to two permanent exhibitions: Mikołaj Podłaszczyk’s minerals from around the world (with the largest collection of amethysts in Poland) and Sławomir Smyk’s sculptures. It also offers guest rooms, a bicycle rental place and a tea shop – Filiżanka Smaków (“a cup of flavours”).
