Pogórzanin narrow-gauge railway from Przeworsk to Dynów
Narrow-gauge railways and handcars
The Przeworsk Commuter Railway known as Pogórzanin is one of the biggest attractions of the Dynów Plateau.
The narrow-gauge line runs for approximately 46 km and offers picturesque views of Carpathian hills. The history of this railway connection dates back to the beginning of the 20th century when it was built by Austrians for transporting sugar to and from a factory in Przeworsk. Currently, it is used exclusively for tourists. It is famous for its longest (602 m) narrow-gauge railway tunnel in Szklary. The train ride provides marvellous experiences, and on top of that, you can get off at any of the 13 stations to explore the region.
