This large village situated between the Dynów and Przemyśl Plateaus in the San River valley dates back to the 14th century. Initially, it was owned by the Kmita family, then by the Stadnickis.
The main tourist attraction of Bachórzec is a church made of larch wood, which belongs to the Podkarpacie Trail of Wooden Architecture. The wooden Baroque church of St. Katherine was built in 1760-1763. After numerous renovations in the 19th century, it acquired a Baroque style. Today the church is reconstructed and can be enjoyed by tourists.
