
The Cisów-Orłowiny Landscape Park

It was established in 1988 as a complex of parks surrounding the Świętokrzyski National Park. It occupies an area of 21,362 hectares and covers forest complexes and hill ranges including: the Orłowińskie Range, Bardziańskie Hills, Cisowskie Range and Ociesęckie Range.
The most interesting and valuable natural sites in the Park are the four nature reserves. The Zamczysko forest reserve covers part of the primeval beech forest. The largest natural complex of peatland is protected by the Białe Ługi reserve. The other two peatland and forest reserves are Cisów and Słopiec.
