The trail of the trip runs along the Tanew river and its tributaries, among picturesque waterfalls that are locally called “hums.” The trip starts near one of the particularly beautiful sections of the Tanew in Susiec. In this village, there are many holiday resorts and the Morskie Oko pond, beside which an old wooden mill is located. On the nearby Grabowicka Mountain, a stone observation tower was erected. The first section of the trail runs through the Solska Forest towards Tomaszów Lubelski on a sandy road near railway tracks. Then the trail runs along the Łosiniec Stream flowing through the territories of local farms; the area abounds in small bridges located close to buildings. On the way, in the Łosiniec village, the trail runs close to the pond by which there is a former wooden Orthodox church and a bell-tower erected in the 17th century. In this part of the trip, the trail runs along the Green Velo Trail.  An asphalt road leads farther through the coniferous forest to Tomaszów Lubelski – the biggest town of Central Roztocze located around 10 km away. Although this trail leads through rarely attended roads, you must ride very carefully through the town, because it is crossed by the busy national road no. 17 leading to the border crossing in Hrebenne. Because of its location on the Eastern borderland, Tomaszów Lubelski frequently experienced invasions and attacks. In spite of this, a small number of particularly valuable pieces of sacred architecture has survived there. The most important of them is a wooden Baroque church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary built in 1627, which is one of the most valuable sacred buildings in Poland. Right next to it there is a brick Orthodox church built in 1890. It is also worth seeing the Janusz Peter Regional Museum. Past Tomaszów, the trail leads through the Maziły village, where it connects with the Green Velo Trail. From there, it leads to Susiec on a separate lane of an asphalt road.  At the end of the trip, we recommend taking a walk to the nearby Nad Tanwią (On the Tanew) Reserve; on its premises, there is a hill called Zamczysko (Castle Site) unavailable to cyclists. You can also take a rest on the beach in Rebizanty, where one of the particularly beautiful sections of “hums” is located.

Surface and marking of the trail:

The longest part of the trail runs on local asphalt roads, a 15 km long section runs on a separate bike lane, and a 7 km long section runs on unsurfaced roads. The trail is partly marked. The first forest section runs along the Trail of Partisan Fights, and the next sections overlap with the Green Velo Trail and the Central Cycling Trail of Roztocze.
