The trail is quite well marked with wooden signs in blue. It was mainly leads along good asphalt and dirt roads, away from cars. It is accessible to every cyclist, due to the flat area and the lack of difficult sections. On the route, medium-thickness bicycles tyres are recommended, due to short, but very sandy fragments, especially near the village of Kolonia Gramotne nad Narewką.

The route begins in the village of Narew. This is an old town, located on the river with the same name - which in the further course becomes the largest river of the province. From the Narew, the trail runs through the Ladzka Forest to the village of Eliaszuki, meeting the Green Velo and the Podlaski Stork Trail. Along the way it passes the Narewka, a tributary of the Narew River, the main river of the Białowieża Forest, in which the valley runs in the further part. After about 2 km, the trail veers south, separating itself from the Green Velo trail.

In the further part of the trip, the route runs south, next to the wooden church in Lewków Stary and the Bread Museum in Suszce Borek. The trail reaches the village of Narewka, located by the well-known Narewka river, on the edge of the Białowieża Forest. On this river, kayaking trips take place, a new water station was built here. In the village you can see many old wooden huts, as well as an Orthodox church and a folk gallery.

After leaving Narewka, the trail continues southwards to reach the edge of the majestic Białowieża Forest in the village of Świnoroje. Before getting into the woods, it is worth having a rest in the local, nicely landscaped, resting place, surrounded by old oaks. The last, 10 km section of the route runs through the Białowieża Forest to the edge of a forest clearing, where the village of Buda is located. At this point the trail again faces orange Green Velo signs. You can continue your trip further to Białowieża or Hajnówka, preferably along the Green Velo trail.
